Arrowhead Raises $3 Mn: Company Background
Founded in 2022 by Devyani Gupta and Vengadanathan Srinivasan, Arrowhead is a voice AI startup building AI-powered voice agents for banks, NBFCs, and fintech companies.
Before this round, Arrowhead had raised a small pre-seed funding of around $20K. Although the startup has entities in both India and the US, it operates primarily from India.
How Arrowhead’s Voice AI Works
Arrowhead’s AI voice agents handle end-to-end sales and service calls, often lasting up to 20 minutes, without customers realising they are interacting with an AI system.
Key capabilities include:
- Long, natural conversations without call breaks
- Full compliance with BFSI regulations
- Ability to explain complex policy documents (20+ pages)
- Up to 45% higher conversion rates compared to human agents
This is one of the core reasons Arrowhead raises $3 Mn amid rising demand for AI-led calling in financial services.
Regional Language Advantage
Arrowhead’s voice bots support Indian regional languages, including:
- Hindi
- English
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Malayalam
- Kannada
- Bengali
The bots can also switch languages mid-call, reducing customer drop-offs and improving engagement—an important differentiator in India’s diverse market.

Arrowhead is also building deeper tech differentiation by strengthening its proprietary AI stack.
