After years of fan anticipation, Lego has officially revealed its first-ever Pokémon building sets, marking a major crossover between two of the world’s most beloved brands. The debut lineup celebrates classic creatures from the original games, bringing Pokémon to life in brick form for collectors and longtime fans.
This launch places Pokémon alongside Lego’s most successful licensed collaborations, including Harry Potter and Star Wars, while strengthening Lego’s growing presence in the video game space.
Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise: The Ultimate Display Set
The highlight of the collection is the Lego Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise display set, a massive 6,838-piece build priced at $650. Designed for adult collectors, the set features the final evolutions of the original Kanto starters with striking accuracy.
Charizard’s flame-tipped tail, Blastoise’s water cannons, and Venusaur’s massive flower are all recreated with impressive detail. Builders can display the Pokémon individually or together on a shared base themed to each creature’s elemental type. Once complete, the display measures 21.3 inches wide and 19.7 inches tall, making it a centerpiece for any Lego Pokémon collection.
Lego Pokémon Eevee: Cute, Compact, and Affordable
For fans looking for something smaller, Lego Pokémon Eevee offers a charming entry point. The 587-piece set retails for $60 and features a fully posable Eevee figure measuring 8.5 inches long.
Its expressive face and flexible poseability have already made it one of the most talked-about Pokémon Lego sets among fans and collectors alike.
Pikachu and Poké Ball Set Brings Action to the Shelf
No Pokémon lineup would be complete without Pikachu. The Lego Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball set includes 2,050 pieces and costs $200. Pikachu can be posed mid-leap as if bursting from the Poké Ball, surrounded by stylized blue lightning effects.
While the Poké Ball leans more cube-like in shape, it can open and close, adding an interactive element to the display.
Exclusive Promotional Lego Pokémon Sets
Lego is also offering two limited promotional builds:
- Kanto Region Badge Collection – Available as a gift-with-purchase when buying the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set between February 27 and March 3
- Mini Pokémon Center – A Lego Insider reward costing 2,500 Insider points, available from February 27
The Lego Insider program is free to join, and members earn 6.5 points per $1 spent.
No Minifigures—Yet
This first wave of Pokémon Lego sets does not include minifigures. However, Lego has hinted that future releases could introduce play-focused features, possibly using the new Smart Brick technology showcased at CES 2026.
Online Pokémon Scavenger Hunt and Grand Prize
To celebrate the launch, Lego and The Pokémon Company International have launched an online scavenger hunt. New Pokémon will appear weekly across social media platforms, with the challenge ending on February 27.
The grand prize includes a trip to PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, making it one of the most exciting promotions tied to a Lego release in recent years.
Release Date and Availability
The Lego Pokémon sets will be available on March 1, with early access on February 27 for Lego Insiders. With demand already surging, these Pokémon Lego sets are expected to sell fast—especially the large collector-grade builds.
As Lego continues expanding its licensed universe, this collaboration could be the start of a long-running Pokémon Lego era.
