Stellantis Announces Safety Recall Over Engine Debris Risk
Stellantis has confirmed a large-scale recall affecting 112,859 vehicles in the United States, targeting two of its most popular plug-in hybrid models — the 2023–2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and the 2024–2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe.

According to safety documents filed with U.S. regulators, these models may contain sand or metal debris trapped inside the engine block during manufacturing, which can cause severe internal damage. In certain cases, the contamination may lead to:
