Samba TV, a leading global media measurement and audience analytics company, has secured up to $60 million in new financing to drive its AI-powered advertising technology and expand its international footprint.
The funding comes through a venture debt facility provided by Horizon Technology Finance Corporation, an affiliate of Monroe Capital, with an initial tranche of $30 million and the potential for an additional $30 million to support future growth initiatives.
Strategic Capital for AI Innovation
According to company leadership, the capital will be used to:
- Advance Samba TV’s AI-driven advertising and audience measurement products, positioning the platform as a unified, real-time solution for marketers across TV and digital channels.
- Support expansion of global operations and strategic partnerships, particularly across growing digital advertising ecosystems like TikTok and Snap.
- Enable opportunistic acquisitions of complementary technologies as part of a long-term growth strategy.
CEO and co-founder Ashwin Navin emphasized that the funding gives Samba TV the “strategic flexibility… to aggressively execute our AI product roadmap, scale global partnerships, and pursue M&A opportunities.”
Why This Matters
Samba TV has carved out a niche in the rapidly evolving media analytics market by offering advanced cross-platform audience insights that help advertisers optimize campaigns across TV and digital screens. The new funding reflects strong investor confidence in its agentic AI infrastructure and first-party data capabilities.
Mark Solovy, Managing Director at Monroe Capital, noted that Samba TV’s proprietary data and AI platform, combined with its integration with major media platforms, aligns with broader industry trends toward real-time, data-driven advertising solutions.
